On April 23 at 15:30, DataCite organized a webinar on IGSN ID Registration: Moving from Interest to Implementation. IGSN (International Generic Sample Number) ID is a persistent identifier used for identification of samples.
The webinar showcases two real-world IGSN ID implementation use cases. The program consists of:
- A brief introduction to IGSN IDs.
- An institutional IGSN ID integration created by GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences for its researchers.
- The Sample Management Module developed by RSpace (DataCite Registered Service Provider) that includes IGSN ID registration.
