This event is held in the Czech language.
Annotation: This webinar will present the results of a nationwide survey focusing on the adoption and integration of persistent identifiers (DOI, ORCID, ROR and RAiD) in the information systems of research organisations in the Czech Republic. The survey, the first comprehensive study of its kind in the Czech context, was conducted by the National Library of Technology as part of the CARDS project. Its aim was to map the current state and planned development of persistent identifier integrations and to collect data for analysing the benefits and costs of their use in the Czech research environment.
The survey examined the use of identifiers across various types of institutional systems, particularly repositories, systems for recording research outputs, financial management systems, grant management systems and human resources management systems. The webinar will provide an overview of the main findings, the current level of implementation of individual identifiers, and institutions’ plans for their future development.
Participants will gain a better understanding of how persistent identifiers can be used to manage research information, improve metadata quality, support open science, and strengthen interoperability between systems at both national and international levels.
