Australian Research Data Commons (ARDC) is organising a webinar focused on the latest global developments of the RAiD (Research Activity Identifier). The sessions will feature updates regarding worldwide RAiD adoption, as well as insights from agencies currently developing RAiD services. Guest speakers will further discuss how RAiDs integrate with other persistent identifier systems. The session will be held in English and will be recorded and shared with all registered participants.

Program: ARDC will present current global RAiD developments and the SURF RAiD service to be provided by the Netherlands. We will also be joined by several guest speakers who will discuss RAiD system developments in the United Kingdom and RAiD’s links with other systems.

Program: Updates from the United States (US) RAiD pilot program by the San Diego Supercomputer Center in collaboration with Lyrasis, and news from the Canadian RAiD pilot program by the Digital Research Alliance of Canada and the Canadian Research Knowledge Network. Guest speakers will include Michael Shensky and Bryan Gee from the University of Texas at Austin Libraries, who will share their experience with integrating RAiD identifiers into the Dataverse repository.
