On February 3 – 5, 2026 an online annual meeting of the communities of users, interested parties and other stakeholders of the ROR (Research Organization Registry), which manages the ROR ID, took place.
Brief summary of the most important achievements of the year 2025:
– A number of new integrations, namely some of the most important for example RAID or Crossref (DOI for grants)
– During 2025, ROR curators processed more than 12,000 user requests; more than 8,500 new organizational relationships were created
– The 1st version of the ROR schema has been terminated (newest version is Schema 2.1)
– API efficiency improved
