ORCID Webinar: Research Integrity and High-Quality Metadata for Institutions

The second part of ORCID’s webinar series on research integrity shifts the focus to the perspective of institutions and libraries. Incomplete or poor-quality metadata make it harder for institutions to track research outputs, demonstrate grant compliance, and meet their open access commitments. This webinar explores how institutions can actively improve metadata quality — at the internal reporting stage, long before a manuscript reaches a journal. The agenda covers best practices, the role of persistent identifiers, and the OA Switchboard platform. The first part of the series, held on 19 May and focused on the publisher side, is available to watch here.
